Polls answer one question at a time. Live Reaction runs the whole time you talk. Every phone gets a slider and five emoji. The big screen draws the room's average as one line.

- Each new slide or question drops a marker, so you see what was on screen when the room moved.

It is the same editor you use for live polls for presentations.
Is this audience engagement tool free?
Yes. Polls, quizzes, Q&A, brainstorms, Live Reaction and the reports are free for you and your audience, with no account. Free polls show a small Made with Poll Maker link.
Do people need an app or an account?
No. They scan the QR code, or type the 6-digit code at poll-maker.com/join, in their phone's browser. You build and present without signing in too.
How many people can join?
Polls, quizzes, Q&A and brainstorms are free with no audience cap. If your polls regularly run far beyond 50,000 people in a room, we will get in touch about a plan that fits, and nobody is ever cut off mid-poll. Live Reaction works for rooms of up to 2,000 people.
Which question types can I use?
Ten: multiple choice, image choice, type answer, word cloud, open text, rating scale, rating grid, ranking, brainstorm and audience Q&A. You can also add your own slides, mark a right answer, or ask everyone to guess the winner.
How do I control what reaches the big screen?
Approve audience questions, written answers and brainstorm ideas before they show. Common swear words are masked and held back. From your phone, hide anything already on screen.
Can I run a quiz with points and a leaderboard?
Yes. Turn on Score correct answers in Settings. Correct answers earn points, with an optional speed bonus and streak bonus, and the big screen ranks the room.
Are answers anonymous?
Yes, by default. Nobody is asked for a name. Quizzes rank players under generated names, like Blue Falcon. Live Reaction keeps only the room's line, never a person's.
Does it work with PowerPoint, Google Slides or Zoom?
There is no add-in, so nothing to install. Import your deck as a .pptx file: titles, text, pictures and notes become slides. On a video call, share your Poll Maker tab.
Is it accessible?
Yes. The slider works with a screen reader and arrow keys. Taps mode gives two big buttons instead. Reduced motion is respected on the big screen and on phones.
Can I make it match my brand?
Yes. Pick one of 16 themes, then add your brand color, a font and your logo. Phones and the reaction line pick up your look too.
